C7000v2 Resets when ISP Performs Server Maintenance
My router resets to factory defaults each time the ISP (Cox) does server level system maintenance. This makes no sense to me.
Each time, the router needs to be reconfigured back to the prior setting (SSID, PW, etc.) and then each device on the network needs to be attended to reestablish connection. This takes hours.
Help please

Id ask the ISP if they are trigging a reset when then do this from there side.
Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed or happens.

Per the ISP, they are not triggering a reset.
Re: Backing up Configuration, I can reset the router settings back to what they were in a few minutes. But, then, every device needs to be attended to get each to connect to the established network; even though it is exact same SSID and PW

Do you have a recent or current back up configuration file to use?
