C7100V access problem
HI,
I have a C7100V that I am trying to connect to Comcast. Everything allegedly looked fine on their end but nothing was coming out as far as my pc or a wired device that was connected. Since I didn't have internet access I couldn't use www.routerlogin.net or 192.168.0.1.
So how do I access the router settings when the router isn't allowing internet access? With Linksys it would switch to a direct connection if the internet access wasn't available.
Or even better what could possibly cause my router to only allow www.cnn.com but no other webpages or connections? First time I've ever seen anything like that.

Hello Omne
Did you check and see if your pc is getting a Ip address if so can you check the default gateway?

Hi,
Actually after talking to your tech people it turned out to be defective so I had to return it.

I have the same problem. Received the unit today, contacted Comcast. No help. I wish you guys had phone support that I didn't have to pay $50 for so I could have confirmed that the unit doesn't work. I'm returning it tomorrow. :(
