C7100v Netgear Genie Remote connection

Question

I just bought a C7100v modem/AC1900 router. I can get the Netgear Genie app to connect locally, but having issues with the remote connection. Turned on the remote connection on the web portal. Tried redownloading the app, and reboots....

C7100V (or any Cable Modem or Cable modem router) Does NOT support Remote Genie.&nbsp;

remote management is DIFFERENT from Remote Genie.&nbsp;&nbsp;remote management is HTTP web GUI&nbsp;Remote Genie is via Genie app&nbsp;
