C7800 ROUTER/MODEM: IS IT CAPABLE OF DOING VOIP?
Hello, just wondering if this router/modem can be used to hook up my new gigaset voip telephones so i can do alot of talking?

Voip=voice over internet protocol
There's versions that are integrated into a router that you can directly connect an RJ11 phone to. (like the C7100v if your isp supports it)
Or theres versions like Ooma that does the hosting itself and can connect to any router.
Tough to tell you based of "gigaset voip telephones"
What actual set do you have?

i am trying to buy the hx series of gigaset telephones.
not sure about specs. i was told these models work well in a voip system
having problems trying to purchase a voip phone.
Thought gigaset was a great product. i am open to other brands as well
I would contact gigaset to see whats compatible as I see some require a dect compatible base and others require the router to have dect

I've never used anything like it myself (just stuck to cell phones).
I've got a couple family members that use Ooma and love it.
