Can the C3700-100NAS be used as a Wireless Base Station, with WNDR3400 as the Wireless Repeater?

I have tried everything that I can think of, which isn't much in terms of how to network, to get the C3700-100NAS Modem/Router to find the WNDR3400 Router as a wireless repeater. Currenltly, running a cable to the location I want to use the WNDR3400 at won't work for my situation. Any help on the topic would be greatly appreciated.
