Cannot get firmware update for c6300

Hello, I have a Netgear C6300 | Ac1750 and i saw there was a firmware update released earlier this year. I have 2.01.14, from what i understand the current version is 2.01.18. After calling my ISP(Cox) and getting escalated to tier 3 support, they said they have no firmware available to update for my router. He said they have the button to push the firmware, but its greyed out because there is no firmware for them to push to me. I wanted to contact Netgear about this, but i couldnt find an email for them.

Is the only way to contact them is by buying that $50 plan? I literally just want to know what to do to get my router firmware updated.  I did read the article from Netgear saying how it was pushed to all ISP's, so I'm truly at a loss as to what to do now.

    Hello Derpchey

All firmware for cable modems are pushed via the ISP they can not manually update the firmware untill they decide to approve the firmware and release it to everyone.
