CAX30S Radio Buttons turned off
My nephew went to fiber optics and gave me his CAX30S Netgear Nighthawk cable modem/router. I activated it with my cable provider. I am able to get on the internet using my desktop (Windows 10) and the ethernet cable (Cat 5e). I cannot log on to this device to change any settings or to find out the firmware version (it just times out). I cannot access any WiFi connections. I assume that is because the radio buttons are not on. When I press the on/off radio button on the unit, nothing happens. When I do a power cycle or request the cable company to do a reset, the radio buttons do light up briefly and then turn off. This device does not show up in a WiFi list or a Bluetooth list. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
Did you factory reset it before setting it up?
If not, start there. Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
