CAX80 not getting full speed
So I just got my CAX80 and it looks like it cant reach my gig speed. My computer was reaching 900+mbps with my previous wired set up on my linksys router but now it only gets 300-400mbps with the new CAX80. My wifi speeds did increase to 700+mbps with the CAX80. I only switched because the wifi was not very good on the linksys router which was only getting around 300mbps. Any one know how to fix this issue? Wifi is actually going faster than wired which is weird.

What mode do you have the CAX in? Router or modem only?
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.- carson_adkinsApprentice

What happens if you disconnect ALL devices from the CAX accept for 1 wired PC, then configure the CAX for modem only node. Disable router mode on the CAX and let it reboot while the wired PC is connected? Then speed test with Ooklas installable speed test app on the PC...

ive logged into the router itself and used the speed tester and still doesnt pull anything near gigabit like 500mbps i dont have a pc with ether net just wifi 6 and i pull like 50-100 on wifi 6

Out of curiosity, what firmware is everyone on? I'm seeing 920 down/39 up on a 1Gig plan with Xfinity.
- carson_adkinsApprenticewired I am getting 900 and 38up but on wifi getting at most 300 on wifi 6 I'll post my connection stats

Another consideration for WiFi 6 is OFDMA support on wifi 6 devices:

also wifi 6 ofdma works fine on my wifi 6 modem router from xfinity so it works. i went through 3 levels of tech support from netgear so they know its a problem with their firmware on wifi 6 mixed with comcast they are getting a firmware person to look into it and fix it. also my firmware is V1.1.0.41 and the cable firmware is V1.02.08.
