CBK752 Router can't locate Satellite.

I have a CBK 752 which includes the Router CBR750 and Satellite RBS750, sold together as a pair.  I cannot get them to pair, I have tried ALL the trouble shooting tips.  Nothing works.  I have turned off my mobile data on my Android phone, I have turned off and turned on both Orbis and my phone.  The Satellite and Router are sitting next to each other, 2 inches apart, no success.  Now what?

Had the RBS been working with the CBR up to this point?

Was FW on the RBS updated recently?

What FW version is on the CBR?

IF FW was updated on the RBS to v7 something, then you'll need to get v4 back on the RBS as v4 FW and v7 FW are not  compatible and both CBR and RBS need to be at same level FW version to operate correctly.

I thought they had but apparently not.  On my Orbi homepage it said 0 of 1 Satellites.  I didn't realize that meant the satellite wasn't paired.  When I originally set up the Orbi I contacted customer support and was told the Satellite was paired.

Obviously not.  I tried rebooting also, that didn't help.  The Router works just fine, I just need to add the Satellite.

"O of 1 Satellites" means that the satellite was indeed paired to the router, but is currently not connected.  (A trivial distinction, perhaps, because it's clearly not working.)

I am concerned about "Firmware was updated yesterday."  Is this something you did?  or Netgear support did?

My concern is because Download site specific to the CBK752 product (K for "Kit") shows the current firmware to be:

        • v4.6.14.4 for the CBR750 router, and
        • v4.6.14.3 for the RBS750 satellite

        https://www.netgear.com/support/product/cbk752/#download

This is an issue that has come up on the forum in the past.  The RBR750 and RBS750 product that a number of packages are built around has updated firmware which appears to be not compatible with some of these packages.  i.e. if the satellite in your package was updated to version 7, it may not be able to communicate with the router that remains on v4.6.14.4

What resources do you have to troubleshoot this problem?  Specifically, do you have a computer or laptop with an Ethernet adapter?

I can't find the FW specifically for the RBS only the CBR.  I assumed since they were sold as a pair and the RBS is listed in "All my products" that they updated together.  If that is not true, how do I find the FW update button for my RBS?  As you can tell I'm not really literate in this.
