CG3000DV2 Wifi issues
Had this router for about a year or so and it looks like about a month ago I started having the same annoying issue - internet connectivity problems on mobile wifi devices. Everything wired always works, laptops connected via wifi seem to work while all the phones / tablets just lose it. Rebooting phones/tablets doesn't help, they successfully connect to the wireless network but internet doesn't work. Rebooting router always fixes the issue, but to be honest, this isn't a great solution if you ask me ...

Hello Fuzzz
Have you tried changing the security type on the wireless I have seen the past certain mobile devices only connect to certain security types on the wifi I would also try to remove the security altogether to just test to see if the issue happens without a wifi password. Hope to hear your feedback

I have the same router, using firmware revision V1.00.05 (current version for my ISP, TWC). I have the exact same symptoms. Periodically (and it seems to be getting more frequent), wireless devices will lose internet connectivity, and frequently they cannot connect to the router at all. During the same time, wired devices continue to access the internet just fine. To be clear, ALL of the devices can properly connect to the router after it is rebooted. It's running WPA2-PSK[AES].
This happens with a WiFi range extender, an HTC One, iPhone 4S, 5C and 5S, an Acer laptop and a Viewsonic tablet. Rebooting the router allows all of these devices to connect and work until the next time the router wireless function goes on vacation.
Any potential fixes?

Hello mjscott
Have you tried changing the wireless channel something could be causing interference with the wireless signal. If the issue keeps happening after trying different channels I would swap it back out with your isp if it was provided by them or contact netgear support to troubleshoot the issue to check that it might be hardware failure. hope to hear your feedback

Same issue -- worked fine for a couple of months and then slow-no reach to where it previously worked. Infuriating, especially given the price of this modem-router. Comcast/Xfinity says it's not a cable issue on their end, no way to check if the firmware has been updated, and I cannot spend time powering down, unplugging everything, and powering up. Help! Should I just ditch this Netgear device and get another...switch to Linksys??

My issue isn't with a mobile device but with a laptop being used two floors down from the router. Was working fine until a few weeks ago.
