CM1100 dead01 serial number
This morning my internet connection suddenly stopped working, with my modem only showing amber lights on the Ethernet LEDs, not even a power light besides that. After resetting, unplugging, and more troubleshooting, I finally got the modem to boot but now the upstream, downstream, and Internet lights blink continuously and the cable connection page in the modems settings say it's trying to find a connection but no luck. The modem information shows no cm certificate, and the serial number showed as dead01 in the same page. The Mac address starts with the normal Netgear Mac, but ends with de:ad:01. Did my modem just die this morning with no warning?

have you moved the modem to right where the coax comes into the home and connected it there?
Do you have a screen snip of the event logs?
- TtodegaardAspirantThe modem had always been connected directly to the connection coming into the home, and the event log shows an error yesterday at 1:30pm, when the power flickered at my house, but the modem continued working fine until approximately 4am this morning.

got a screen snip of the event logs on it?
