CM1100 LED Internet Infinity burnt out!
This is so annoying these LED's should never burn out. The modem is working with full internet support but the LED is not green. It is burnt out. I restarted the modem and rebooted it that light did turn orange during startup, but once connected LED was out.
This makes me question buying Netgear products. Status LED's should never burn out!
I am out of warranty. How do I get some compensation for replacing the modem.

I'd agree. Just use it as is if its working fine. I can't say I really use the leds. And if you're out of warranty, I'm not sure why you expect "compensation". It still works, what failed, doesn't impact performance, and its out of warranty. You don't put 150,000 miles on a car, and when the fuel pump is failing, expect the car to be replaced.

Use it as is.
If you need diagnosting information, you can get that from the modems web page when needed.
Some LED may have been defective at there Mfr place and just give out after a period of time.
Use as is or find something else. All warranty and non warranty issues are beyond forum help. Contact NG support for those items.
