CM2000???

I was recently looking at the spectrum and cox approved list, and there is a Netgear CM2000 listed with a 2.5GBps ethernet port on it.  I am wondering where I can obtain the CM2000 or if it is a future product, or what the deal is...

Thanks

    It hasn't been released/anounced yet.

And netgear doesn't release dates because so much depends on the ISP certification which is taking forever.

    • Weird that both Cox and spectrum have it on the approved list for their gig tier. Wonder why it hasn’t been announced if it’s been approved by the isp 🤷‍♂️

They usually wait on the elephant in the room to certify (xfinity).

They all three have it on the list that’s what the original issue was. Is it going to be a Broadcom or puma chip?

Ironically you tell a bunch of people who started on 2400baud modems who now have gig connections at home we need “patience”
  • According to Cox Communications, Netgear's CM2000 Docsis 3.1 Cable Modem is approved for use on their Internet Service.  According to Netgear, the Nighthawk Multi-Gig Speed Cable Modem, Model CM2000, Netgear User's Manual was published and release to all major ISP's on or about January 23, 2020! However, Netgear is not showing this particular cable modem available for sale to the general public either on their website, through Amazon or any other reseller's websites. So, it brings up this interesting question? Is the Netgear Nighthawk Multi-Gig Speed Cable Modem, Model CM2000 only available for purchase through ISP's at a VERY HIGH PREMIUM PRICE ($$$.$$) and thusly, not available to the GENERAL PUBLIC as an up to date/latest and greatest Cable Modem?

I have downloaded and saved the Nighthawk Multi-Gig Speed Cable Modem, Model CM2000 Netgear User's Manual and Data Sheet as proof that this newest cable modem is available to the market!

I'm not sure what saving the information will accomplish.  The CM2000 is apparently coming soon.  I was just trying to jump the gun a bit, but I'm sure it will be available in mid september or october by my guess.

It's up to NG and marketing and legal teams to figure out when to make the offiical annoucenment for the general public. ISP may have put that on there sites for there users and there use. Hopefully NG will make it known as mentioned, soon. Keep an eye out at retailors too. :smileywink:
