CM2050V Stopped working
Hi y’all, I’m having the same issue with CM2050V. Stopped working. All lights flicker and won’t respond to anything nor factory reset. Switched back to old 1150V modem and it works fine, so I know the CM2050v is the problem. 13months from purchase so mynetgear won’t let me contact support or open a case; it just points me back to community and knowledge base articles that don’t cover this issue. Any advice from others on how this was resolved?

Make sure the voltage and amp outputs on your power adapter match up to the requirements marked on the modem.
Make sure your power adapter is plugged in to a working outlet. Maybe try a different one for test. Maybe try a different power adapter.
Have you tried the factory reset with the coax connected and with the coax disconnected?
- RjeterAspirantThanks for the reply. I have tried the factory reset with and without the coax cable connected, but it did not reset or do anything different than continual flickering lights.
The power adapter is still the same original one that came with the modem. I have always used an active outlet (and a UPS).- FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
Can you try a different adapter with same volts and amps specs and see if the modem returns?
