CM400 Constant Red Power Light
Hi all,
I recently moved into a new apartment and started to set up my internet with a friends modem (CM400).
Before Comcast even showed up, I noticed the power led stayed at a constant red when given power.
I have tried resetting for 30+ seconds, removing the power adapter while doing so, and also quickly pressing the reset button. Nothing has worked so far.
I'm guessing it is a hardware issue but supposedly it worked in the friends apartment before it was moved here. He is in the process of disconnecting the MAC address from Comcast but I don't know if that will change anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I would first make sure that comcast transferred the modem correctly to your account. But you may need to contact netgear support if that is the only light on.
