I recently joined Comcact after moving and purchased the Netgear CM400 modem. For the most part, it works fine with no issues. The speed is constant and Youtube, downloading, surfing, etc work grea...

yes I have 2 seperate streaming devices on 2 TV's, and it only happens with Netflix. It works fine it if is just a 25-30 minutes show, but once it gets past 40 mins or so it just leeps buffering. Comcast and Netflix did reach a deal that supposedly ended any bandwidth issues. I can stream Youtube and other things all day with no issues. Netflix just can't keep up after 40 minutes.

what router are you using does it have some type of QOS setting on it? Are you streaming over ethernet or wireless? if wireless have you tried to adjust the wireless channel?

my router is a Belkin-N F5D8236‑4. It has the QoS turned on. It is wireless, I have tried a couple different channels.

Have you tried to disable QOS?

DarrenM limiting bandwith does not effect by the speeds or issues that would cause buffering. They limited the amount the data you could use. Every ISP besides Timewarner limits the amount of bandwith you can use. and when you do go over your amount, you just get charged more on your bill, also the limit on bandwith depended on what region you were in. Now as for buffering check how far you are from the router, check for interfernece on the router. a wall even can cause lots of issues depending on what is in the wall, try changing channels on your router to 1,6,11 non overlapping channels for the 2.4 Keep in mind wifi is very sensitive lots of things can be effecting the wifi even if you think it wont, being 10 feet from the router can cause issues if something around there is interfering with the wifi, also move your router up into a high location that is visable, not hidden or being blocked.
