CM500 Modem all lights solid amber; internet green
For whatever reason, the modem has all lights a solid amber and the internet light is green, but we don’t have internet. Unplugging the power to restart, hitting the reset button or anything else doesn’t change anything. Any suggestions?

Try a different power adapter with same volts and amps and see. Possible the modem could be bad.
Are you able to access the modems web page at 192.168.100.1 with a wired PC and web broswer?

Disconnect both the power cord and the coax. Let it set for a couple of minutes, then connect the coax and then the power cord. Give it plenty of time to boot and connect to your ISP.
Do you have any filters, splitters, or amplifiers upstream of the coax connection?
Maybe a different power adapter?
- jsnimAspirantI tried both suggestions, but nothing worked. But for whatever reason it started working again after leaving it alone for a few days.

Good to hear.
Maybe your ISP/Cable provider was doing some system work.
I know in my local area Xfinity is installing a lot of fiber and doing node splits.
