CM600
I got a new cm600, The problem is the modem will not display Cable connection or Event Log. When I do a factory reset it will display cable connection and event log for a little while then disappears.

Is it powering up and attempting to connect to your provider?
What are you led lights on the front doing? (describe what each light is doing, color, blinking/steady)
Have you had it/are you able to get it provisioned from your provider?

All of the lights are green,The problem ia when i access the netgear genie it will not display cable connection or event log.

try logging in via your browser. Netgear isn't updating genie anymore. I put the notice at the bottom. Are you able to see all your info when you access it via browser? address is usually 192.168.100.1 its not always that, but its the common address.
