Compare Products: C7000 vs. C7000-1AZNAS
Hello,
I've noticed on both Amazon and Netgear's own website that there are separate product pages for the Nighthawk DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem Router. There are two different item model numbers: Model: C7000 and Model: C7000-1AZNAS.
The Compare Products feature on Netgear didn't show any apparent differences in terms of Speed and Range, Number of Ethernet Ports, or Key Features. On Amazon, the price difference between the two products are merely a few dollars. However, the Date First Available provided on Amazon differ between the two products. Model: C7000's on June 18, 2015. While Model: C7000-1AZNAS's on December 15, 2017.
What is the difference between Model: C7000 and Model: C7000-1AZNAS? They are both available to be purchased and I would appreciate any further information on these two products.
Lastly, there is also a Model: C6900 that I don't believe is available for purchase anymore. Sorry to add to the confusion.
Any information on these two different item model numbers are appreciated.
Thanks.
Hello Cherpumple
Its just the box that it comes in we made some boxes that are easier to open and more eco friendly but the modems are the same.

1AZNAS is same, just some minor packaging difference.
C6900 does not have the USB port and is a Costco product. Is not sold in other stores.

Thank you for the reply.
Would you recommend that I purchase the more recent C7000-1AZNAS then?
And will the C7000-1AZNAS eventually replace the C7000?
Can you perhaps provide me the details on the minor packaging difference?
Thanks again.
