Connect yourphone to windows

I'm trying to connect my phone to windows using the windows Your Phone app. Both devices are on the same network. The app tells me that it can't connect. The troublehshooting guide suggest turning off AP isolation. However, I can find no settings for this in the router admin.

What am I missing?

Any more clues than that? "Your Phone" is a bit picky.

    It probably means Wireless isolation".

I have none of that enabled.

What is this phone? Does it connect happily to your wifi for other things?

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

    Cable Modems & Routers

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Model: C6250-1AZNAS|AC1600 WiFi Cable Modem Router

My Samsung s20 +56 phone does connect to all my other devices. Windows app Your Phone is the only thing it won't connect with. I have a desktop pc as well, Your Phone does connect to this phone on that device, but it's using an Asus router on that.

I did find the user manual, but found no mention of AP Isolation or Wireless Isolation.

Anybody have any ideas on this?  Is this cable/router issue or something else?
