Dejavu - cax80 and xfinity
Same issue as everybody else.
I had the xfinity modem, got full 1.2 gig... "Upgraded"to cax80 and best i can get is 500ish.
I have tested hard wire, wireless, moving it to a different connector, had xfinity test, returned to the xfinity modem, tested from multiple speed test apps, etc. Ad infinitum...
All things are equal except the cax80 yet netgear sorry have been beyond useless.
They give the same fun around they have in the other posts trying to blame end devices and everything but their device. I know others are getting the correct speed, so why not just rma this and send a replacement?
At this point, i would buy carrier pigeons before buying another eygear product.

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

https://www.duckware.com/tech/solving-intermittent-cable-modem-issues.htmlThere is a known issue with 5Ghz wifi:
The CAX80 can handle near 900Mbps and over that on Wire. Mine does. However I'm not on XF.
