the question, does time warner advertise internet speed in MegaBytes or MegaBITS?
if they say you get 50MB download speed then its 50 x 8 or 400 Mbits/sec and if the Arris units modem can go up to 343 Mb then it cannot handle the speed. Wasted calls with Staples, the guy hung up on me and said that bits and bytes are exactly the same thing
Arris guy says TWC or others advertise the download in bits, so its 50 Mbits download, they never advertise in MB
