kaspersky says my network is not secured AND unable to access router login

I had no problem installing and setting up my Netgear C6300. I was able to  set up a new login password and I changed the name and passphrase for each channel and everything seemed to be fine. Then I started to get warning messages from Kaspersky anti virus that my network wasn't secure and I have been unable to access the admin site. I have tried www.routerlogin.com, www.routerlogin.net and the IP address. All just return "webpage not available".

1. If I changed the channel names and passphrases and the admin password just how vulnerable is my network?

2. what do I have to do to access the router login again?

  • I have C3700 & also a Kaspersky software which throws a similar message that my network is not secured. I have no solution on this.

      Hello jilbee

Make sure your connected via ethernet and try 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 see if you can then log in agian. If not you will want to do a factory reset on the modem and try to log in again.
