Is it possible to hook phone into the Ethernet port to allow my phone that needs internet to work I made the cord that should be correct configuration for it but still have no dial tone the C6300 dosn...

If your phone is not a IP based phone that uses a Ethernet cord then no you can not connect it to the C6300.
