Model C7800 Computer Unable to connect using VPN

I'm trying to work from home but my computer will not connect through the VPN. I'm using Dell Sonicwall Global VPN Client with Windows 10. The computer will connect through the VPN at other sites, so IT thinks it's our router that is cousing the problem. Our router is the AC3200 model C7800 with Cox cable. I have read many tips related to different routers but this router is different so non of the solutions work.

    Your companies IT thinks that?

Did you try contacting the VPN provider "sonicwall"?

Maybe they know what specifics need to be done for their vpn client to run on specific devices.

The reason I know the problem at the router because, I connected my laptop via my cell phone hotspot, then I can connect to device at work via the VPN connection.

Not saying its not the router but your vpn might need specific ports/setup for it to work

  • Yes, I have the same problem that with VPN connection after deploying C7800 router to my network. If I don't have it resolved this week, I think I have to return the router.
