Netgear nighthawk cm1200 question

Hello everyone. I had a power outage and need to make sure my settings are good on my nighthawk cm1200. I am trying to confirm it is set for dynamic IP. The netgear genie has very little options and I dont see a place to confirm it is set for dynamic IP?

Can someone please let me know how I can confirm this and it if its not set to dynamic IP, then how to change it to dynamic IP? I am trying to incorporate my TPlink Deco6 wifi routers and they wont connect after the power surge.

Thank you in advance.

All modems are dynamic. There is no user adjustments on modems.

Power OFF both modem and connected router for 30 seconds then back ON with the modem first, then give about 10 seconds and power ON the connected router.

While the CM1200 has 4x ethernet ports, most (not all) ISP's only support a single connected device.

So if you have the tplink you're trying to connect and have something else connected to the modem, disconnect everything, power everything off, then power on the modem (wait a couple minutes), plug in the router and power it on (wait a few minutes), then go through internet setup on the router.

Thank you to both of you. I was trying to get it going for 3 hours last night after an internet power outage and was about to go buy a new cable router. It works now. Its Alive!

        glad you got it working!

Might mark it solved so others aren't still trying to fix it.

What actually fixed it? (so the next person might know)
