New CM1150V with no voice service

So, just moved in and have new Comcast service. I bought the voice modem so I could have phone service but the phone lights on the modem are not on and even hafter restting the modem, nothing. The lights do initially blink when the moem is booting up but them they go out.

 

Could it be a bad modem or problems with the wire. They put in a new wire from the pole to the house.

    You need to have CC investigate this issue. 

    Check all RJ11 wireing. 

    Ensure the ISP has the modem configured and provisoned correctly.

      Currently doing that. The phone is connected to the modem and we are not using any of the phone wiring in the house.

        Hopefully they can get it working...

      Also, the coax wire to the modem is new and the internet works fine.
