Nighthawk c7000 keeps on resetting wifi
I used nighthawk c7000v2 3 years back and then stored it up. I started using it again with Spectrum.
However the wifi keeps on resetting once a day. It can happen at any time of the day. I spoke with Spectrum and went through all the troubleshootinb and they confirmed the issue is not on their end.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

What do they logs show?
I use customized wifi username and password. Now and then, it resets to default. Also, the access to Router also resets to default username and password.
Could be something either triggered by the ISP or just something corrupt in the settings. I'd do a hard reset by pushing and holding reset while powered on for up to 30 seconds. That should clear everything from memory. IF its a corrupt setting causing it, that should clear it out. If that doesn't help, it could be something hardware related causing the failure.
