Nighthawk CAX30 required login for internet

I have a brand new CAX30, and when I hooked it up and got it activated by my ISP, I was unable to access the internet without logging in.  This is after I put in the pass for the wifi connection.  Wh...

Thanks for the fast reply, unfortunately, mine will not be as quick.  Due to the nature of my work from home, I had to revert back to the old modem.  I won't be able to get back to setup this one again for about a week or so.

 

So, the first and last question, I will have to answer then.  For the other questions:

I tried Edge and Safari, and tried to connect to different addresses (Google, Facebook, etc.), both wireless and wired with same results.  ISP is Cox.  This happened on my Dell laptop and Iphone.  My table (Samsung) just simply would not connect to the internet.

 

Thanks again for the quick response.  I will get the other two questions answered as soon as I can.

Factory reset it during the install. 

Make sure during the install you meet the minimum password requirements. 

I've seen that forced before when you're not meeting the minimum requirements.
