Nighthawk CAX30 reverts to default network name and password

Question

When our power comes back on after being out, I find that my Nighthawk CAX30 reverts back to the default network name and password. We have cameras on the network that we count on when gone and if this happens we are out of business until we can return home. What causes this and how can it be avoided?

How was the system updated? Auto update or did you manually apply FW with a wired PC and web browser?&nbsp;

I would try this, manually download the v.2 FW file for the CAX30 and manually apply it with a wired PC and web browser:

Once it's processed the file and is back to ready, Factory reset the modem and setup from scratch:
