Poor WiFi speed compared to Ethernet

I'm having same/similar issue. Cable co has been out several times and ckd everything. My different issue is that I get fluctuating Mgbs also on wired as well as wireless. I get similar results as prev. stats...all over the place! I went thru Netgears steps to correct issue including changing channels,wireless settings & thresholds which improved somewhat but didnt stop the fluctuating Mgbs both wired and wireless. I bought the N3000 in Sept 2016 so not yet 6 mo old but it seems to be consistent issue w/many users of this product. FRUSTRATED!!! And why hasnt there been firmware to fix this issue???
