Slow internet, High amt of correctables/uncorrectables, no ip when hardwired

Hi,

I'm getting super slow internet speeds and I have a high amount of correctables/uncorrectables. I used to have a CM700 and I thought the PUMA chip was causing slow speeds so I bought a CM600, and i'm experiencing the same thing. I tried to connect my computer directly to the modem using an ethernet cable, but it kept giving me a "no ip address error." I don't know how to assess whats accectable for correctables/uncorrectables, but the attached files show the amounts.

The firmware version is 1.01.16.

Is this a modem problem or ISP problem?

Those timeouts typically indicate an issue with your ISP. You will want to contact your ISP and have them send a tech out to check out the lines in your area.

  • OP here again,

I'm also getting a bunch of these errors:

Started Unicast Maintenance Ranging - No Response received - T3 time-out;CM-MAC

    MDD message timeout;CM-MAC

Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 time out;CM-MAC

I don't know if thats relevant to the problem but it was happening every couple min for hours.
