Slow Wifi - C7000v2 – Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router

I have a C7000v2 – Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router with Comcast service up to 100 mbps. the modem is in the basement connected to a luxul xp-1500 extender (into the basement ceiling) and two other tp extenders in the house (RE450 main floor & RE305 second floor). Yet my wifi signal is between 5-20 mbps. Would anyone know what settings I would need to modify to get optimum speeds?

Thank you!

Dave

What speeds to you get with just the wifi on the C series modem only? Turn off all other extenders.

Might go with NG extenders to see if those work better. EX7000 would be a good match...

ALso distance with extenders is important. 30 feet to start in between the modem and extenders is a good starting point. Depending upon building materials. Concrete and steel will impact wifi travel.
