still unable to set time zone in modem
time is wrong in the modem. you can try to blame the isp but that is not the issue becuase when using spectrums modems the time is correcdt.. the problem is you need to allow us to set the time zone in the modem firmware as spectrum and other isp's are not setting it.

The isp controls the firmware. Netgear can send them updates to the firmware but if the ISP doesn't implement the firmware, netgear can't force them. Who knows, maybe Netgear did implement a fix but the ISP hasn't rolled it out.
If you're wanting control over the clock, that'd be a feature suggestion and better suggested under the idea exchange.

Plain bridged Modem does not talk to outside world. It gets time via ToD (time of the day) from ISP. ISP may send time incorrectly by 1 hour in most cases due to daylight saving but there is nothing modem can do.
even if there was a drop down menu in the GUI, it would not work since the modem cannot talk to NTP servers.
