Hello Deano7
Here is the FW article for cable modems.

Yes, that article says V2.01.14 is the latest. This article says 2.01.18 is required to patch the security vulnerability for the C6300 (I made a type when I said 2.01.08): https://kb.netgear.com/30632/Web-GUI-Password-Recovery-and-Exposure-Security-Vulnerability?cid=wmt_netgear_organic
The problem I have is I have obsolete firmware with a security vulnerablility, that Bright House tech support says they have no mechanism to push a patch to this modem/router and you don't provide me a way to do it. I'm in the middle feeling very sorry I purchased that high priced C6300 modem/router.

FWIW, My Firmware Version is V2.01.18
I have Spectrum (fka TWC). I was just having a problem logging in to the router (storms in the area) so I rebooted it and decided to check everything out. I could not d/l firmware using the Netgear Genie Desktop App, but in the Router Settings > Router Update screen it shows Firmware Version V2.01.18. I know that page (linked above by DarrenM) says the latest version is 2.01.14, but the page is dated 3/16/17. It is 4/2 and I have the later version.
I would also like to know the details of the upgrade, but I thought I would let you know that some of us are getting the newer version with the C6300/AC1750 Cable Modem Router Docsis 3.0. The pull out tag on our modem say AC1750 WiFi Cable Modem Router Model: C6300 NETGEAR (R).
Hope that helps...
