Why did you delete my post regarding netgear allowing TWC to stop factory resets ?

I have the proof right here..

You fascists are allowing TWC to take over people's modems ???

TWC had the long reset to default disabled anyway. That was the supposed 15 minute long reboot that the Cnet writer referred to.

If TWC's CMTS to CM handshaking was flawless, you'd never have to hit the reset button. I've only done it twice in 2 years and that's been to clear out the correctable/uncorrectable  counters in my leased 6141 and try to get a different DS channel lineup.

However, others have had to reset theirs daily and the removal of the reset has thrown a wrench into the works.  The 6121 users really need to replace their modems with 16 ch ones as in most areas, TWC is exceeding the max acceptance bandwidth of 6 channels. I seriously doubt the FW update can fix that.
