Why is my gateway CG31000-2BPAUS showing partial?i

My gateway modem CG31000-2BPAUS is only partially working, it is from 10 December 2015 out of warranty, do I have to purchase further warranty.  Can not find an answer on the NETGEAR site.  Also my Wi-Fi Extender WN3000RP-V1H2, also out of warranty, does not work and has disappeared from my networking options in Settings.

    Hello Burty2010

When you say partially working what are you talking about can you describe the issues you are having with the modem. Hope to hear your feedback.

Where the different NETGEAR modem, wifi extender and wifi adapter are listed as registered the modem is displayed with partial connection and the other two products are no longer connected or supported.  I got the modem mid 2015 and your software says none of the products are supported.  They are not broken, still useable.  Do I have to pay to have them supported?

My broadband connectivity continually drops out, finally disconnecting and providing no internet capability.  My IP say the signal reaches my home but the modem appears to be the cause of the dropouts.  When viewing Genie my three NETGEAR products are listed with only the modem listed as partially connected, the wifi adapter and wifi extender operation have been discontinued.  What do I need to do to remedy the products to be fully operational?

I would first check your connections to the modem do you have a cable splitter that is on the cable line attached to the modem I would try to remove that to see if the modem gets better connection. You may also want to do a factory reset on the modem and set everything up again. and if the modem is still having issues you can contact netgear phone support if the modem is still under warranty.
