Multiple fuses but one fuse box.
Just out of interest, how are your fuss boxes connected? i.e. does 'spans the gap' mean that the power goes back to mains, down the street, etc? And what sort of speed are you experiencing?

My second fuse box runs back to the main inlet into the house. So all on the same mains link.
Speed? I have never tested it.

What did you mean when you said: "can slow things down"? I assumed you meant the speed was slower.
