PL1000 won't establish network connection

Hi,

I do have a home network with a different IP range as the default home range 192.168.1.0/24.

When I plug in one of the two adaptor in an outlet and connect it to my switch, I see it appear in my network  with an IP range (192.168.0.1). Two leds are green , the last is red [Pick a Plug led]

After two/thee minutes another entry appears with an IP 192.168.0.104.

Is the 192.168.0.0/24 the default IP range of this product? Can it be changed?

When connecting the other adapt into my outlet, the first two leds are green, but the third won't light up.

No connection to my LAN is setup.

What's going wrong and how can I connect?

Thanks in advance,

Patrick

  • Problem solved. I forgot to push the security button after putting the adapters on the outlets.
