Great news! The recent update to Genie, 2.4.16, sees and and allows the PL1200's to be changed. On the network map switch to the powerline view. You can see connection speeds, update PL1200 names, and set the security code. So far so good.
Thanks for the tip to find powerline info in Genie. There doesn't appear to be any firmware update option in Genie that I can see. Is there another way to update the PL1200?
There is no firmware upgrade that I know of. I meant exactly what I said, you can update the names of the devices, that's it. Sorry for any confusion.
