PLP1200 Loses connection after 5 ish minutes
Hi
So I have two PLP1200 adapters connected with a wireless router on both ends. I've had this setup since 2016 with this problem only occuring once last year, where it fixed itself somehow.
So the problem is that the adapters suddenly stops transmitting internet, all the three lamps green (with the pick a plug LED occasionally red, as normal). Then I fix it by resetting both the adapters and then it runs flawless for somewhere between 2-10 minutes, usually around 5. Then it suddenly drops connection even though the lamps on the device tells otherwise. Then I apply the same fix and the same problem comes back. I have troubleshooted both of my routers and have confirmed that they aren't faulty and that the problem lies with the adapters. The problem occured once last year but it fixed itself after a couple off days, but now it has been on and off with this problem for the last two weeks and I am getting tired of resetting the adapters all the time. Anyone who may help me understand why?

What does "stops transmitting internet" mean?
The Ethernet goes down on some device or other?

Powerline devices are very sensative to other devices on the circuits with them. Cell phone adapters, surge protectors, arc fault circuits, high draw appliances, etc all introduce interference that can mess up their connection. You could have added something to the circuit thats causing issues, a motor could be going bad, a circuit breaker could be going bad, there's many variables that need testing to see which is causing the issues.Usually what I recommend is removing all the devices plugged into the same circuit/circuits as your powerline devices, making sure they work and stay working, and then slowly adding devices back in to see where/what causes the issue.
here's a little article from pcworld that talks about this.
