PLP2000 second adpter

I am looking at the PLP2000 powerline kit and I am interested in a second adapter, not the whole kit just the receiver is an additional adapter available

Neither Netgear nor any of the other Powerline plug makers seem interested in selling singletons.

Maybe you can get something second hand, or if you can find a single new plug of any make it should be compatible with your PLP2000.

Which model could be compatible with PLP2000 without loosing the benefit of its speed?

  Thanks, last question, the software NETGEAR Powerline Utility doesn't work anymore with my PLP2000 - any chance to have a similar software for my PLP2000?

    Netgear seems to have abandoned its powerline utility. Some of us use the ZyXEL alternative as a substitute.
