PLW1000v2 - capped at 100mbps?
Hi all.
I've been using PLW1000v2 & PL1000v2 for a while now on my home internet. I've been on a 100mbps plan & I was been getting between 70-90mbps which is fine.
I've recently upgraded to a 500mbps plan & I'm still only getting 70-90mbps via the powerline adaptors (wirelessly connecting directly to the router is giving 500mbps).
I've logged in to the router & I can see the PLW1000v2 on the network, but it's showing a link rate of 100mbps. Is there any way to increase that so I get closer to the 500 mark?
I was under the impression that the PLW1000v2 could go up to 1000mbps?
Thanks!

Suggestions:
- Try new Ethernet cables. When Ethernet devices negotiate 100Mbps rather than 1000Mbps, the cause is often the physical cables.
- Temporarily move the remote Powerline device to the same room and plug it into an electrical socket on the same circuit breaker.
Powerline is sensitive to distance, quality of electrical wiring, and passing through circuit breakers.
If it is not clear which circuits the electrical outlets are on, temporarily connect both Powerline adapters to the same electrical outlet using extension cords.
