powerline 1200
I have 4 Powerline 1200 units that worked flawlessly for over a year. Not one issue. Just today, 2 of them have the ethernet lights not lighting. I tried reseting all of them, the router and modem but nothing. I switched out the 2 not working with the one plugged into the router and they work. No matter where I plug these 2 in the house they dont have the ethernet light come on. Only one out of the three recieving the signal works. its like the 2 that work only work on the 2 outlets they are in, the one plugged into the router and the one in my living room. My house was only built 5 years ago and the wiring is solid and like I said before, all 4 worked for a year no matter where we plugged them in. They work when I swap them out with the two that are working fine, so none of them are actually broken. I can't figure this one out and any help would be great.

There are different types of reset. Do you mean you have reset them to the factory defaults? (The tiny button on the bottom.) Or that you have taken them through the setup process again? (The security button operation.)
It sounds like the "broken" ones have forgotten that they are supposed to talk to the one connected to the router. If you haven't done so, take them through this process:

- snicolayAspirantThank you for your response. I tried that this morning and I get the router
unit blinking, plug in one of the ones that do not work and get that one
blinking then they both stop blinking after a while but the ethernet light
never lights up the whole time. Just the power led and the bottom security
turn green. I have been testing them in the same room too.- clithesProdigy
Do you have any devices connected and using the internet when you are testing them? (or at least switched on to obtain an IP address)
If not, you will only see the top and bottom lights lit.
Also, have you tried checking Genie to see whether it sees all units when plugged in and turned on?
