Powerline Adapter PL2000 error
I have a PL2000 powerline adapter for my PC. It worked completely fine up until today. The Power LED light is continuously red. I have moved to every other wall socket in the house and it still is red...

Power LED or Pick A Plug LED?
I can't find a PL2000 but the PLP2000, and others, don't do "Red" on that LED.
What they do have is "Solid amber". Which means that "The adapter is in power saving mode."
By default, Netgear's Powerline plugs come with power saving enabled and can turn themselves off at inconvenient times.
If you want something to handle that, find the ZyXel Powerline utility.

When it boils down to it, Powerline plugs all seem to use the same basic chips: utilities for one brand will work on other brands. They may see the plugs as "unknown" devices but they will still work.
- CallumLockMay 14, 2023AspirantI might take a look at the Zyxel adapters if my Netgear ones don’t fix themselves.

Do that by using the ZyXel app.
Or reset the Netgear plugs.
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.

After further look at the adapters, it does look like the Pick an Plug LED is the one that's Red.
Would this affect any of the advice you have given?
