The powerline AV500, from what I see, is an Ethernet extender. The extender connects to a receptacle, then the Ethernet cable would connect to a Vodaphone LAN port. The other Ethernet extender connects to a receptacle somewhere else in you home. Then using another Ethernet cable, connect to another device. What is connected to the other end of the extender?
Depending on your electrical environment in your home, it may, or may not work well. It is susceptible to electrical interference and also, how you home is wired. There could be connection drops, and poor throughput.
