XWN5001 loses path to router
I have the following set up :
Netgear Powerline
XAV5201 - Firmware 0.3.0.6CE
XWN5001 - Firmware V0.4.0.7CE
Netgear D6200 Router - Firmware V1.1.00.14_1.00.14
Every few days or so a situation arises where anything connecting to the XWN5001 can not access the internet.
It is possible to establish new wifi connections to the XWN5001.
It is possible access the internet via any computer connected to the Router.
It is possible to ping the XWN5001 from any computer attached to the Router.
It is not possible to ping the Router from any computer attached to the XWN5001.
Rebooting the XAV5201 and the XWN5001 does not solve the problem, the Router also has to be rebooted before the internet can be accessed via the XWN5001.
If Netgear Genie is opened whilst this problem is happening it shows a connection with a speed of around 200 Mbps between the XAV5201 and the XWN5001.
It is not a Router problem because there was exactly the same problem with our previous BT Router, which is why it was replaced with a D6200.
It is not a fault with this specific XAV5201/XWN5001 as both of those have been replaced.
Also, both the Router and the D6200 have the same SSID, I have tried them on the same or different wireless channels and have tried DHCP switched on and off on XWN5001, nothing made any difference to the problem.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

HI Siplax,
Have you checked if the devices connected to XWN5001 can grab valid IP?
How far is the XWN5001 from the 1st powerline?
Have tried moving the XWN5001 closer to the 1st powerline or in just one room?

I'm suffering the same issue I'm getting disconnected from the router numberous times through the day. Looking at the router event log I see many (341785.610000) Device disconnected: Hostname: XWN5001 IP.......... in a 20 minute window I've seen 6 only one causing a complete disconnect. I've recently changed ISP to Plusnet Fibre (Hub One) so my router conigurationn has changed but the problem predates the change and is now more frequent. I planned to do some testing by installing an XAVB5221. Then I planned to start swapping routers. But any advice you can give wuld be appreciated
