AC1200 USB WiFi Adapter - Intel/AMD

Simple question:

I was looking at the specs on this USB adapter and it stated it is for a "Pentium Class PC".  Am I right (or wrong) to assume that this will not work on a PC that uses an AMD processor?  Any help would be great.  Thanks in advance.

Edit: This is for a Win8.1 64bit system

  • Hi Cyndane,

"Pentium Class PC" is a chip classification that was produce 1995 onwards and AMD is part of it. So the answer to your question is it should work with the AMD processor.

  • I think you misread it. It is minimum requirement to use that adapter. If AMD cpu/APU has same level of performance level wny not? Also there is minimum amount of memory requirement in addtion.
