Driver Install Problem
I have had this wifi adapter for over two years now, I think. I had lost the driver CD and needed to reinstall the drivers, but since the CD was missing I had to download the driver's to a USB and bla...

What did you actually run? (The download has a couple of options.) Genie, a word that Netgear throws around willy nilly, could mean anything.
Are you sure you need Netgear drivers? Many people find that the adapters do fine with the stuff that comes with Windows. Just plug it in and see what happens.
