Huawei wifi E5573C connection failure

Just bought and install the A6210 WIFI Adapter. It detects the signal from my Huawei E5573C and asks me to enter the security key to connect to the network (Wuawei), when I enter the security code I get a message saying failed to connect to network.

My other devices connect to the Huawei with no problems.  Have tried connecting with all the other devices disconnected switched off but still unable to get the A6210 to connect to the network.

Signal strength is perfect.

All help appreciated.

    Hi CMcD

    Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

Please be reminded that password is case sensitive. We just want to make sure that we entered the correct password. Kindly check as well if you have Access Control enabled on your router.

      Hi CMcD

For isolation, is there an option to enable Guest network on your router? If so, temporarily enable Guest network with no security and try to connect.
